Key Ingredients
Vitamin A
Improves skin texture by aiding in the exfoliation process, which is clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It will also help reduce the appearance of hyper-pigmentation due to premature aging of the skin caused by over exposure to UV light. Vitamin A is derived from carrots and fish liver oils, and promotes rapid topical absorption and utilization.
Derived naturally, and is present in leafy green vegetables and some dairy products. Clinical reports have shown that with continued use, it can significantly reduce the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, reduce the appearance of acne scars and the healing time of bruising. Vitamin K also increases the strength of blood vessel walls, and has been proven to reduce the appearance of broken capillaries and spider veins.
Peptides
Active peptides work synergistically to repair skin damage caused by free radicals. ONE contains a very high level the highest quality of matrikines (Peptides) available, which promote cutaneous structuring and repair, providing a notable anti-wrinkle effect. As a major component of our proprietary Anti-Wrinkle Complex Technology™, matrikines (Peptides) are capable of regulating cell activity, interacting with specific receptors in order to activate the genes involved in the process of matrix renewal and cell proliferation. As we age, these processes become weaker. By including peptides into our Anti-Wrinkle Complex Technology™, we are able to deliver a powerful anti-wrinkle formula that works with your skin’s natural processes to help turn back the hands of time.
Ceramide II
A synthetic substance that is identical to the natural ceramides that comprise up to 50% of the skin’s lipids. It helps to capture and retain the moisture that the skin requires in order to stay supple, smooth and moisturized. It also promotes the rapid and efficient repair of the cutaneous barrier, which when reinforced, resists external aggression, leading to a reduction of the aging effect. With continued use, Ceramide II has been proven to reduce the occurrence of TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss) by up to 51%. This reduction in moisture loss is critical to the fight against aging and is a key factor in ONE's ability to function as your anti-aging fighter.
Avocado
Derived from a purely plant-based source, avocado improves skin elasticity, moisture retention and stimulates collagen synthesis, leading to improved hydration and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. It is a proven phyto-protector, as it stops leukotriene and prostaglandin formation, and acts as an anti-bacterial. Inclusion of avocado in our formulations promotes a reduction in inflammation and helps to slow the aging process. Nourishing, regenerating, softening, smoothing and soothing, it is excellent for sensitive skin, stressed or tired skin.
Directions for use
After cleansing, apply to orbital eye area in the PM as needed. A little goes a long way so start with less and increase as needed.

FAQ
Why is water the first ingredient in ONE?
One of our primary goals at SkinCareScience is to formulate with an exact and standard approach of preventing inflammation to the skin. With our ONE eye care cream, we focused particular attention to its foundation as it applies to this method.
ONE has three parts:
Part I is water – could be as high as 60%
Part II is the delivery system (via. cream, lotion base or serum) – could be as high as 20%
Part III are the actives or the ingredients that do all the work - 20%
Why Water?
Considering our bodies are made up of 60% water, we took the same approach and attempted to manufacture ONE with very similar ratios.
ONE’s ratio contains 60% water (part 1), 20% active ingredients (part 3) and 20% cream (Part 2, the base delivery system). The only percentage that is exact within ONE are the actives. Part I and Part II are the variables but no matter what as a single ingredient in our ONE formula, no ingredient makes up a larger percentage which is why it is listed as number 1.
An explanation of Parts 1, 2, 3 (above): Regardless of your total concentration of active ingredients you must have a balance of the remaining volume of liquid to total 100%. In other words, if our active ingredients take up 20% then the remaining 80% must include specific ingredients to deliver them to you. Our goal is always to make it up with water but we all know that is not always possible either. If we did, the product would have no ability to absorb into the skin or act as an occlusive barrier or hydrating layer.
What we did was come as close to water base as possible and added just the right amount of additional ingredients to make the cream the exact feel and texture we were looking for. What this did is formulate a product that would reduce the potential for irritation by a huge margin and deliver both water and active ingredients to the skin for maximum hydration and maximum results. You can feel this very quickly when you touch ONE with your fingers and especially when you apply it to your skin.
Based on the above, here is how the ingredient list would look: Ingredients: Water, Ceramide II, Vitamin A, Avocado, Vitamin K, Peptides, (…Cream Base Ingredients).
The real key in understanding the process of ONE and our goals is realizing that some of Part II and III will not be in the exact order represented above, or based on their actual percentages; however, we hope this clarifies the reason why water is our first and primary ingredient.
When it comes to skin care and results - SkinCareScience focuses on one aspect of its products that we feel sets us apart from the rest and that is the base delivery ingredients. We do not focus so much on each one; however, we do put attention there. Our focus is to remove them completely because we know that the best way to increase results is to not inflame the skin in the first place. When we remove and not just change or reduce a percentage of a base delivery ingredient, we are increasing your client’s chances of quicker and better results along with actives at percentages that are, as mentioned above, clinically and medically proven to provide lasting results.
Will ONE help in reducing the dark circles underneath my eyes?
Vitamin K, one of the active ingredients in ONE, has been proven in some individuals, and in some cases there has been clinical proof, with continual use, to significantly reduce the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, the appearance of acne scars and the reduction of healing time from bruising. An additional benefit of Vitamin K also increases the strength of blood vessel walls, and has been proven to reduce the appearance of broken capillaries and spider veins.
What about Puffiness?
Many things can cause puffiness and one factor can be dehydration. ONE is intensely hydrating and can absolutely help with this condition if hydration is the mitigating factor.
What we like to say is that on an individual basis, some clinical research trials have noted a reduction in under-eye puffiness along with a reduced visible appearance of dark circles under the eyes. Though this is not absolute clinical proof, some may indeed see results.
Can I use ONE for those tiny lines around my lips?
Yes, absolutely, 100%!! However, if you have what we call ‘smoker’s mouth’, then you have another problem altogether. In this case, the underlying muscles are creating the deep wrinkles, and therefore not a dermal problem but a structural problem. No amount of active ingredient can help if the active repetitive movement of a muscle is creating the wrinkles.
Can I use ONE on my neck? Will it help?
Skin sagging in the neck area is a normal age-related issue that is exacerbated by many factors, and is virtually impossible to eliminate using non-surgical treatments. ONE is an amazing skin hydrator with active ingredients that can improve the overall texture and condition of the skin. However, if you are concerned with sagging skin, or if you are looking for a treatment that will significantly lift and tighten the neck area, this may not be the product for you.
How soon will I see results?
With intense hydration, results can be seen very quickly. In the case of fine lines and wrinkles, it may take between 4 to 6 weeks to see dramatic results. Consistent use, especially in the initial phases of treatment, will result in the ‘plumping’ of the dermis, providing lasting results that will continue even after discontinuation of the product.
How is ONE different from the other eye creams on the market?
There are several ways ONE is different:
ONE was developed from over twenty years of research that has been collected and compiled in order to bring the best of the best into one product.
ONE reduces the number of base ingredients so that you will be applying less non-active ingredients to your skin that could potentially cause inflammation.
ONE uses active ingredients at extremely high levels of concentration so that as the product ages, the base amount that is proven to be effective will remain consistent throughout the lifespan of the product.
Will ONE help with age spots on my face?
Age spots are created by the production of melanin by the melanocyte cells. The process of eliminating these spots is mostly done through exfoliation by acid or another similar ingredient. When using ONE, you are directly treating the aging process (e.g. being proactive) and not the physical after-effects of sun abuse or age spots (reactive).
Can it help? Yes, absolutely, but that is not the primary purpose of ONE. This is a major grey area in anti-aging skincare. To be honest, we do not like addressing the issue because what we refuse to do is stretch the truth about skincare and how the skin is able to heal through the use of topical products.
I know a little goes a long way, but if I use more, will it speed up the results?
No. Increasing the amount of product you apply will only waste the product. Your skin can only absorb so much at once and will eliminate excess through the lymphatic system. The best way to use ONE is through a ‘less is more’ approach, concentrating on even coverage and continued use without overdoing it. Applying evenly with a disciplined approach will be far more helpful than applying increased amounts to the same area.
How come it takes so long to see significant results?
The skin is the most resilient and hardest working organ in your body. If you think about what it does and what it is responsible for, it is an amazing piece of nature. Its sole responsibility is to protect you from the outside environment and to keep everything on the inside safe. The damage done to your skin did not happen overnight, so why would the effects of the treatment?
Throughout the aging process, the skin loosens and becomes less taut. This may appear to be the result of aging, but the fine lines and wrinkles were likely created by environmental issues or not maintaining adequate care of your skin. The positive effects of using a topical ingredient to reduce or reverse the aging process will take time to see. The skin needs time to use these ingredients in order to slowly reverse all the damage that has been done. The only products that can achieve this quick time-lapse to recovery are actually inflammatory to the skin and can be quite damaging over the long term.
This key point is critical in understanding the main differentiation between ONE and other products in its class. Once you achieve results, they will last, whereas with other skin care products that create results through inflammation, when you stop them, the results stop as well. What can be even worse is through the use of these inflammatory products; you could actually see damage to the underlying areas of the skin where treatment occurred once the inflammation has subsided.
